Windows 10: Notifications: How To View Old Notifications?

Hi all, I really like the "New Notifications" feature in Windows 10 Pro on the bottom right corner of my screen.

My Windows 10 PC informed me that I had potential malware and it said it removed it, but I want to read more about it.

How can I view old "Notifications" that appear in the bottom right corner of my screen?

Clearing Facebook notifications

I have the same problem, it is in the latest Facebook app, not the ME tile, it is the red circled "notification count' on the live tile when pinned to the start page of the phone. I've viewed the notifications, I've responded to them and so far nothing will
make the notifications go away. If you can't manually clear them, is it possible to downgrade to the old version of the facebook app until they fix this? if so, how?

Action Center is not showing past notifications

These answers are terrible. To the question regarding how to show notification history - the answer was that you can't view it after manually clearing it...

Yet the notifications disappear without
manually clearing them. So are they gone forever? How do we view the notification history?

 

To find out more about what was removed,
if you're using Defender,
you need to open it up,
select the History tab,
select "all detected items,
click View details,




Then this opens,



and you can decide if it was a false positive and keep it, or to remove it.

I couldn't find any place.
I was thinking in C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\ActionCenterCache
but mine is empty*Sad

So it's not possible to look at old Notifications?

 

Apparently not. Most notifications are of the 'Safe to remove USB mass storage device' type - relevant only at the time of notification. There's little point in keeping those, so Microsoft don't. Some (like 'Defender needs to scan your drive' or 'an app default was reset') are less ephemeral and will stay in the Action Centre until you click on then to confirm you've read them. But they too will then disappear. More serious errors may also get reported in the Event Log or (like Defender's History) in the app itself, but there's no record of action centre notifications that I can find.

It would be great if there was a way that we could read old notices. There have been a few I didn't get to read before they disappeared.
