Windows 10: Notifications in Windows of a recurring event appear all at once

I've created a recurring event at my calendar and put a 15min reminder configuration but instead of appearing only ONE reminder each day, it happens to appear ALL reminders all at once, for all the events. So, this recurring event will happen until January 2021, it appeared A LOT of notifications for all these events.


I thought I would be reminded each day, 15min before each event.


I think this is not supposed to work like this. Can someone help please?

E71 - Calender - Recurring Events

You can try out the same scenario.

1. Go back 1 month in Outlook, say 30 June 2008.

2. Set an event and make it recurr every 12 days.

3. Sync your E71.

4. Check how many times it appear on your phone.

Mine appeared once only.

If I'm recurring an event for Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly it will work but not for X days recurring.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

E71 - Calender - Recurring Events

I'm using E71 with Mail For Exchange to replace my Blackberry.

However, E71 doesnt seem to handle Recurring Events at all. In my outlook,I have set events to recurr every 12 days.

In my N82 when synced, all the recurring events are update correctly. But on my E71, it doesnt appear at all.

With E71 being a business phone, I thought it should handle it better than N82 ?

Maybe it is due to my phone setting ?

Can someone please help.
