Windows 10: Notifications not displaying text

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

    To resolve your concern regarding notification area, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Right click Taskbar.
    • Select Properties.
    • Untick Show taskbar on all displays; then, Apply.
    • Drag the remaining primary monitor taskbar to the screen you want.
    • Tick Show taskbar on all displays.

    Hello,

    There are several possible reasons why you're encountering this issue. It could be due to an incorrect settings or software issue. Are you able to get text message notification now? If no, please provide us the following information to isolate the issue:

    • What is the current OS build installed on your phone? To check, go to
      Settings > System > About > More info > OS build      .
    • Aside from Jingle's suggestion, what other troubleshooting steps have you done?
    • Have you tried performing a soft reset? Press and hold Volume
      down and Power button until your phone vibrates and restart.
