Windows 10: Notpad++

What do the Extended codes \n, \r, \t, \o, \x do? I cannot seem to get a clear definition of what each of these codes represent. Also, are there any more Extended codes besides these?

How to automate uninstallation of program that I can't find the Uninstall Registry Keys for?

In edition to @Hans Hubert Vogts excellent comment I suggest writing a batch or vbscript to run the uninstaller. This is especially true if it is always the same program.

1. find path to uninstall.exe (usually in the install path)
   
2. open notpade
   
3. copy following code
   

1. save as .cmd
   
2. run with admin privileges
   

 

laptop spacebar making 64 need help

my step son has a toshiba laptop. its not all that old. his keyboard started messing up. the spacebar when pressed in notpad/search etc it make the number 64. backspace gives a date stamp. the number 4 sometimes does 4 and sometimes does 64. im thinking he somehow pressed the wrong key and it inverted his keyboard somehow. but Me and laptops are like oil and water. help?
