After upgrading my cpu from a ryzen 5 2600 to 5600, everytime I play a game, specially warzone. I get very high GPU usage from a system app which is ntoskrnl.exe, like around 20-60% of gpu is taken up and lowers my fps ingame by a large amount. this is the first time ive gotten this issue, last time I had it was ntosmrnl.exe eating CPU but normally dissapears after a while. but now it uses gpu. people said it could be a gpu driver issues, I reinstalled using DDU properly TWICE already. no changes. also, while this is happening my other app which is outplayed.gg from overwolf also takes a

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

I would like to suggest 2 more things if you don't mind,
    1. Seat the GPU in another slot, if possible, and see if that helps anything
    2. Use the GPU in another system, if possible, this is a step to determine that it is really the GPU and not multiple defective slots or something else from the system.
