    Nov. 28th version 1803 (KB4477029) keeps freezing my pc up and I have to do a hard shut down


    While the KB4477029 update fixed the bug where I couldn't set Photoshop as my default photo app, now my computer keeps locking up, and I have to do a hard shut down. Is there a fix????

    Hi!

    My PC keeps freezing, requiring me to do a hard boot after approx. 20 minutes of activity . Windows 10 Home. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

    Random freezes or shut downs

    Completely random freezing/shutdowns on a system with no recent hardware changes, and hard drive, memory, and PSU fine, usually means a software issue (file corruption or malicious software). I suggest following DavidV's recommendations.

    Computer Keeps Freezing

    It froze again, and the common problem I see throughout most of the freezes is a driver atksgt.sys being blocked from loading. It is related to Tages Protection from Tages SA and it says it has a driver that is installed that causes stability problems with my system. It says it will be disabled but I think this is why my pc keeps freezing. Any suggestions as to what it may be for and/or if I can get rid of it and how?

    I never downloaded a program from Tages SA so I am not sure what it could be from.
