Windows 10: November New Windows 22H2 We couldn't complete the update undoing changes

I've been facing this "We couldn't complete the update undoing changes" issue when I try to install windows 10 updates. I tried all the step mention here new fixed but nothings work. I also tried using startup repair and undo latest windows update but its not working either.I have a laptop with 64bit windows 10 pro ver :this is the CBS.ZIP logsplease help me, thank you

I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Update. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Windows update.

Windows 10: "We couldn't complete the updates, undoing changes"

I've got the same issue and following on @Arthur's suggestion, I had a look at my user SIDs in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and some of them belonged to users that no longer existed in the system (I had previously removed them).

I've removed the dummy entries (luckily there were only a couple) and the update worked.

PLEASE save yourself some trouble and backup the registry before trying that.

 

New fixes for We couldn't complete the update undoing changes

Since last month's cumulative update, I've been facing this issue after restarting my windows to install updates. I've tried everything i could find and still encountered "We couldn’t complete the updates. Undoing changes.

Don’t turn off your computer" after restarting. and 0x0070003 error code in update section.

here's some of the solutions I've tried:

• Windows Update Troubleshooter
  
• SFC and DISM Scan
  
• Deleting the SoftwareDistribution Folder with and without safe mod
  
• Starting the App Readiness Service
  
• Resting Windows Update Components
  
• Manually Downloading Updates
  
• disabling the Antivirus app
  
• Skipping to next month update ( the issue persist)
  

I've also tried using the startup repair function to fix the issue but faced "startup repair couldn't repair your pc". although i couldn't find any useful fixes for that problem, the issue might be related to that section. any new ideas would be appreciated.
