    You obviously don't know me...perhaps that's a good thing.

You have to keep in mind that some other users might find the apps you don't like very useful and that's why they're there.

I think so, especially when you talk about OneNote, probably one of the most used apps on the planet, as well as some of the others.

He's not the only one who dislikes OneNote and I don't know anyone who uses it... I also believe it's usage is inflated solely by the fact you're prevented from uninstalling it *Confused

Bing search engine isn't going anywhere. Just a few of the arms of it. Please note what the article states.

I suppose that's why it's one of the most used apps on the Ipad.

Their new app store is, just dumb. I log on and it doesn't show hardly any of my previous apps that I have or purchased. I don't understand what it is doing. 50 percent of the apps that I purchased a while back either don't function or don't exist any more. And this is typical of Microsoft, they have consistently stopped supporting their developed software time and time again. Maybe when the final version is released they will show again. I also, personally, don't care for the layout of the new store, I don't find it user friendly at all.

With their recent cut of 7500 more employees, it makes me wonder where they are actually headed.

Ah.. the apps are not created by MS and they have nothing to do with the support and maintenance. It's up to the people who wrote the apps to test it with Win10 not MS.

    Any more complaints??

    Hi there

I Hated these types of "Stores" from the outset

I can see "The Chickens coming home to roost".

I never could see the point of a Multi-Billion dollar corporation (Ms) getting involved with Zillions of "Mickey Mouse" type apps costing often as little as a few cents -- just maintaining Payment and invoicing info on that stuff is likely to cost them a huge amount of money without netting them anything. Also they can't QC this stuff either (or if they did they wouldn't have time for any of their other activities).

Apple got away with their Store since it started right from the outset and had restrictions on how stuff was coded and checks before apps could even make it into the store.

Windows is a totally different type of eco system.

I hope the Store soon dies a natural death.

At least if you get something from the Apple store it has the backing of Apple. If Ms doesn't have any responsibility over what gets put into ITS store then it's just junk --you might as well buy stuff in a Local flea market.

    Cheers

Use OneNote daily. Have multiple notes in my personal folder on various life subjects. House remodeling project I'm doing now, wife's working hours for they change weekly, grocery list, two car maintenance, karaoke songs I like to sing, etc. Retired recently, but used it a lot in a construction business in a separate folder on various aspects of business like notes on multiple projects, filling items running short in stock room, equipment and tool maintenance, calls to make, etc. All this was synched on my devices no matter where I was/am at. And allow my wife (or anyone I desire) to make changes.

If not OneNote, what do you recommend to use? You don't use pen and paper yet do you?
