    Remove app from "My apps"

Allow us to remove apps from Windows Store "My apps", sometimes you try an app and never want to install it again, rather than be constantly reminded it still exists. See link below.

  2. No harm in mentioning again. I won't hold it against you. Yeah, I have a bunch that I tried just the once and now they are mine forever and a day. Now I'm leery of trying any others for the same reason. There needs to be a way to clean out the trash. Or hide them away out of site.

I see your point, but this is not MS's fault, yes? The installation and adding to your Store account is the OEM's fault yes?

The only apps predestined in my installation of 10 was the Mail, Calendar, News, Weather, and maybe a few others. I was surprised I had to install the People and Get Skype apps. All others I had to install.

So far as recording them in the Store is concerned > I agree that it is a PITA having to go through the list, however, with the new Store app it is much easier than the old Store app in 8. We get to check them off to install one by one, yes?

I agree there should be a way to strike them from the list. Perhaps that is to come. Please remember > This is new tech and takes time to develop. I'm quite sure MS doesn't want all this extra, unneeded data filling up their servers either.

  9. If Microsoft want users to "use" Windows 10 then the user needs to be able to remove apps by some means? What about apps that are unsuitable for youngsters? What about apps that drain the wallet?. This to me is another nail in the coffin that is Windows 10. You can install apps so why can't you uninstall them? Me I don't care as I'll be denying them running on any device I allow Windows 10 on.
It is the stupidest nail so far.......The Core OS is good, it is the add on garbage and the stuff they have deprecated that is bad. Not feeling the upgrade or actually downgrade is worth the effort.

  10. If you read my post, it about removing Apps from the Windows Store's "My Apps" list, not uninstalling them in Windows. Two completely different things.

  11. The way the Windows Store works is, any app installed in Windows on a PC you log into with your Microsoft Account, is immediately added to your My Apps section. Regardless of whether you ever used them or immediately uninstalled them. This includes the preinstalled Microsoft apps and the apps the OEM installed. I blame Microsoft for not asking first if you want to add them to your My Apps list, and not giving you an option to remove the ones you don't want. I know why they do it, its to preserve the ones you bought so you don't have to buy them again. But why do that with free Apps or trial Apps? This is one of the few things in Windows 8/10 the really pisses me off. I really hope they change it.
