Windows 10: Now That Bethesda is Owned by Microsoft, Can we Work on Syncing Characters Between Consoles...

Hello there,


I own The Elder Scrolls: Online on PlayStation 4, even so, I haven't used my console in months, maybe even a year now and I'm planning on selling it, paying for access to the online features which is demanded for games like The Elder Scrolls: Online on the PS4 simply cannot compete with owning the game itself and only having to pay for the broadband like on PC; as such I'm caught in a limbo of sorts, I don't want to pay for online features on the PlayStation because I'm already paying to access the internet in general, but I also don't want to buy ESO on PC because I'm heavily invested with my account on PlayStation I think I've spent roughly £200 for DLC and cosmetics, not to mention my Nascent Indrik mount that took a very long time to get.


After all these years I think it's time The Elder Scrolls: Online were able to be synced between consoles and PC; Bungie has already figured out how to achieve this with Destiny 2, using what they call a "Cross Save", I see no reason why this shouldn't be possible with ESO.


Personally, I don't care about my characters, their levels, and their perks as much as I do about the cosmetics, and my mounts/pets; if you are able to allow me to bring these over to a PC account, I will likely begin investing into the game again, including a Plus membership so I can gain access to all areas.


With the news that Sony has disabled the store for the PS3, PSVita, and the PSP, I've begun wondering what happens to all of my account data once the PS4 is officially killed off, it may be a few more years, but I can at least take solace in that fact that having my account on the PC will at least allow me to keep playing for longer than on a console.


I would like to know what others think of this.

"Chinese Characters" program delaying shutdown - a different approach.

• As you have mentioned this happens only in the Admin account, is it local account set as admin account or the Microsoft account?

I would suggest you to check the all apps list and check if that Chinese character app is present.

After you try the above steps and share us the results what happens we can proceed with the further suggestions.

Please post us back with the results after troubleshooting the above steps and check.

Microsoft Account not syncing WP8.1

Hi Michael,

We suggest that you manually sync your Microsoft account by following these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Tap email + accounts.
• Tap and hold your Microsoft account.
• Tap sync.

Check also if you have the correct date and time set on your phone.

Let us know the results.
