Windows 10: Npcap Lookback Adapter

Discus and support Npcap Lookback Adapter in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I am frequently loosing my internet connection, yet still connected to my wifi.     Npcap Lookback Adapter


    I am frequently loosing my internet connection, yet still connected to my wifi. My netgear genie software tells me I am still attached to the internet. When I do a network troubleshoot and select npcap it resets it says that the ip address is in error, but my connection comes back for a little while. How do I resolve?Don

    The Npcap Loopback Adapter

    I used IOBit Uninstaller and uninstalled NPCap in the list. This solved the problem and the adapter was deleted. I had this adapter sinds yesterday when I installed Bitdefender Homescanner. I believe it's harmless, but deleted it nevertheless.

    To at least answer one of your questions of what the npcap loopback adapter is part of;


    I had the same thing after installing nmap. I'm studying for system / network administrator and I used this program to scan an entire network, selected host or single server for open ports (can also be used for other scans).

    A quick way of finding out if the following program is installed, go to start and type Nmap

    Nmap - Zenmap GUI should pop up.

    Underneath an example of a scan I did on my own website (can also be targeted)
