    NSIS error that says error launching installer


    Split from this thread. RAV antivirus service/driver may have caused the error.NSIS "Error Launching Installer" but I am not launching - Microsoft CommunityWhen I try to uninstall RAV the NSIS error pops again how should I fix it?

    NSIS Error pops with no installation going on

    When the NSIS error appears, please don't close it yet. Let it remain on the screen.

    Follow the "Process Explorer" steps mentioned in one of the following links:

    Double-click the offending process which is highlighted by Process Explorer. Take a screenshot of the dialog and post it here.
