Windows 10: NTFS External Hard Drive shows up as SCSI and is not accessable

Hello and thankyou to anyone reading this.

I have a 60GB external HDD that I used to backup my data before reinstalling windows. This data is very important and I CAN NOT LOOSE IT. I dont care if the hard drive is damaged, as long as I can get my data. After reinstalling windows, I connected my hard drive and it makes the sound of a usb device being connected but nothing happens. I lookee in disk mnagement and it shows up as "Storage Pool" 55.87 GB, Healthy (Storage Soaces Protective Partiton). In the control panel storage spaces tab there is a drop down menu in red called Drives with an unrecognised configuration. A drive is in there called External USB 3.0 SCSI Disk Device. The reset button is blanked out. I only had one partition on the drive and it was called "Storage Space" and occupied about 58gb of the drive and it was NTFS. I used diskpart to list the partitions of the drive and there is two. Partition 1 is called Reserved and is 15mb with 17kb offset and Partition 2 is called Unknown and ia 55gb with 16mb offset. This drive has no letter and it doesn't show up in file explorer. If anyone knows a solution, Please leave detailed instructions. Even if this will damage or make the drive unusable I dont mind because I want the data copied over to my computer. Thanks to anyone who can help.

SCSI External Hard Drive removed by mistake

I upgraded to windows 10

my backup External Seagate hard drive was configure as drive G:

The G: drive was showing "This PC" even when the G: external hard drive was not connected so I I deleted the G: Drive path.

when I plugged the External Drive back into the computer it couldn't find the drive or files.

The "external hard drive" does show up in Device Manager but not under disk management

Under "device manager" under details is does show I deleted the device

SCSI\DISK&VEN_SEAGATE&PROD_BACKUP+_BK\000000 was delete 8/19/2015 8:20:51 PM

I have tried:

Restoring computer to an earlier date

updating the driver

all Seagate tools

Deleting the Driver

Partition recovery software doesn't see the drive.

Plugging into a windows 7 computer and it still doesn't see the external hard drive.

HFS4WIN.ext file

Do I have anyway to undelete the SCSI\DISK&VEN or create a new one?

If I find a MAC will the drive work

Please help

We suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps below:

• Open your External Hard Drive file in File Explorer.
• Type the name of the file you want to search on the search box and click Enter.

The file will show up in Search Results and you will be able to move it to the correct folder.

Trouble Accessing External Hard drive

I just got an external hard drive for my computer from a friend and I am trying to format the drive to clear the previous data. The drive will not show in file explorer but when I go to devices in settings it shows that it is connected. I cannot even access
any data that is on the drive at all. Does anyone have a fix or suggestions?

The External Hard drive is Western Digital.
