    ntosknrl.exe BSOD after 30 minutes to multiple hours of pc running


    My pc will run fine for only a half hour or up to hours on end, but it will eventually bluescreen. I recently upgraded my cpu, and the BSOD happened the day after and continues to happen, not sure if thats the issue. I'd suspect my PC not be able to run if it had to do with my cpu though.I've tried sfc /scan, windows start repair said something was wrong but couldn't fix it, windows memory diagnostic, chkdsk, and maybe a few others.Is the crash log I need to post called a minidump?

    BSOD every 30 minutes to an hour

    Hi! for the past 24 hours, my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad S145 with Ryzen 5 and 12GB of RAM, Windows 11 Home) has been getting the BSOD, although it usually just freezes with some artifacts on the screen for a split second. This happen every 45 minutes or so, and the laptop will just crash without any signs or warnings. Here's what I've done so far:

    • ran chkdsk /r & sfc/scannow
    • turned it off for an hour to let it rest
    • tried to factory reset but it returned with "Boot Manager recover from critical error. Some essential variables are absent or corrupted and Boot Manager has restored them from default configuration." and stopped the reset altogether
    My laptop is on build 22000.2057
