Windows 10: Ntuser.dat

Since using Win10 I have accumulated many NTUSER.DAT and BLF File files in my USER file. . Is this normal.
2. Can I delete them without causing any problems
3. Is there a way to prevent them accumulating.

I opened a bogus email from Amazon that had a tab for purchase details which I tried to access.

Did I allow someone to have access o my computer?

I noticed a ntuser.dat file created the same day as the email with 8,704 KB. Should I delete this?

NO, don't delete them, they are user preference data files.
You shouldn't be seeing them any way, unless you're showing 'super hidden' files folders..., which you should hide again before something gets deleted that shouldn't get deleted!

 

Thanks Edwin. Just as well I didn't zap them. But I will leave them visible as I don't like anything hidden even though they may be a potential problem.
