Windows 10: NUC PHKi7C BSODs

Hi!I recently got this new NUC PHKi7C because I was getting frequent BSODs on my older NUC NUC8i7HVK and now this one is doing it as well. My guess is it's network-related because that's what the older machine BSODs were revealing. I was hoping someone could shed light on these mini dumps so I can pinpoint the culprit and finally figure out why I am getting them. Also - i recently reformatted the machine and got blue screens the moment windows booted up. Did a memtest and passed with flying colors. Yes, it is an Intel NUC. I have contacted them too. Thanks for the reminder / suggestion.

 

Intel Nuc BSOD multiple errors


Firstly i would like to thank Lifetec for the help!!!!!!!!

Despite my RAM being on the approved list from INTEL http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...000016245.html it apears that there is a issue with this particular memery and 6th Gen NUC's.

I found this thread on the Intel forum https://communities.intel.com/thread/96772?tstart=0 with others using the same ram as i did having the exact same problem as i did.

i bought 2 sticks of the Kingston ram recommended in the post and the NUC has been running perfect ever since

Now i wonder if i can get Intel to reimburse me for the Corsair ram that doesn't work as i bought it on there recommendation.

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.
