Windows 10: Num lock keep getting tuned off every few minutes

I have an issue since migrating to Windows 10. I have a virtual environment running VMware Horizon 7.4 with link clones. we have a Wyse Model KU-8933 keyboard connected to a 10Zig model V1206-PD zero client. I have some users that will login and get a windows 10 desktop they will press the num Lock key to turn on Num lock then after a few minutes Num Lock will turn itself off. The user will again Turn on Num Lock and again after a few minutes, I will turn itself off. This only happens to the Num lock key. The Cap Lock and Scroll Lock work just fine. So to recap user: Tom logs in gets a windows 10 desktop called test1. He presses num lock to turn it on and after a few minutes it will turn itself off. This will happen al day long. now the really interesting part. If a user who does not have this issue logs into test1 Num lock works fine and does not turn itself off, but if tom logs back in the Num Lock issue will start turning itself off.

NUM Lock issue

The status of the NUM LOCK key is specific for each user, and NUM LOCK is disabled by default. If you want the NUM LOCK key enabled for use before a user presses CTRL+ALT+DEL to log on, you must use Registry Editor to change the default behavior.

To enable NUM LOCK before a user logs on, follow these steps:

• Run Registry Editor.
• Move to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard.
  
• Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.

Num Lock issue on Windows 10

Hi,

I realize that you are facing issues with the Num Lock on your PC. I will try to help you with this issue.

You may plug in an external keyboard to the PC to check if the Num Lock issue reoccurs. You may also want to use the on-screen keyboard to check if that helps.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

• 
  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.
  
• 
  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

e71x num lock

Using the quickoffice spreadsheet application is real cumbersome because I cant figure out how to get the num lock on. Any suggestions?
