Windows 10: Num Lock makes noise with Toggle Keys turned off

HelloNum lock makes noise when I press the button to either turn on or off. This has been happening for the past week or so.Been on Windows 11 since it was available. Never had the issue on Windows 10.Checked toggle keys in settings and control panel and its already set to off. I did try turning it on and off, issue still there.Checked device management and keyboard is up to date.Checked Corsair app ICue, Keyboard on latest version.Connected another keyboard and same issue.Command prompt with sfc /scannow and returned no issues or errors.I did press and hold, it did make the deactivate noise

To Turn On or Off Toggle Keys Tone

As you have an issue with sound on toggle keys, I suggest you to change the toggle keys settings
and check.

Steps:

• Press Windows key from keyboard and type
  Toggle.
• Select Hear a tone while pressing Caps lock, Num lock and Scroll lock.
• Under Toggle keys, change the settings and check.

If the issue still persists, Run troubleshooter from
Fix sound problems and check.

Num lock keeps turning off

Hi,

Was the Num Lock option working fine before? Aside from your observation that it turns off whenever you open Excel, were there any updates performed, or any changes made on the computer prior to this issue?

In the meantime, let's check out if the mouse keys are turned off and see if this address the problem. Follow the steps below:

• Click the Start key, select Settings.
• Click Ease of Access, then Mouse.
• Toggle Off Mouse keys.

Update us with the outcome.

Turn Num Lock permanently on

Just to be clear, this will turn Num Lock on permanently, but disable the key so that it will no longer be possible to toggle it off, correct?
