Windows 10: Num Lock not working although selected in BIOS

My numlock key used to be preset after a computer restart or reboot, now it has to be manually pressed before the number key section and led indication is operational. I have checked and it is selected on in my bios settings. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If the Num Lock key does not work, boot into the BIOS and enable Num Lock

 

Why after the new Windows 10 Update December 2017 Logitech 710 Plus Keyboard Num lock and Caps lock and Scroll lock lights don't work?

I have the same issue, steelseries apex keyboard , num lock and scroll lock , caps lock led not working after the update 12/12/2017

everything else is working fine, the keyboard still functions and the led`s work under bios so the keyboard is good, just no lights un windows 10 although a dialogue "cap shift is on" comes on in most cases

This is probably a long shot but try it anyway:
Go to Start/All apps/Windows Ease of Access folder/On-Screen Keyboard
With the OSK up, click on Options (1), 'Turn on numeric keypad' (2), engage NumLock (3), click OK (4)
Ensure NumLock stays engaged; don't know if it will have any bearing but it's worth a shot.
