    10 keypad not working after upgrade to Win10

    If the Num Lock key does not work, boot into the BIOS and enable Num Lock

    keyboard num lock stopped working in Windows 10

    Finally found NUM LOCK off & on in Ease of Access. All my computers have been returned to operate the num lock. THANKS for Method 2 which helped me locate the NUM LOCK problem.

    Dear DDT1932:
    if the keyboard won't respond to the NUM LOCK key (it's supposed to toggle on/off whenever it's pressed) there could be a problem with your keyboard. If you have access to another keyboard, try it and see what happens. If not, maybe you could borrow one from a friend just to try it out? My best guess based on your system type (HP desktop) and it's likely age is that the NUM LOCK key may be broken or jammed. Replacing a keyboard is not terribly expensive, so things could be worse!
