    Number files copied from one HD to another is not the same when repeated with a second HD

    I copy 20GB from USB on Desktop #1, desktop properties confirms 20GB files received. I copy 20GB from USB copied to Desktop #2, I see it copying 20GB, but when I check properties on desktop #2 only 4 GB is shown. If I go into the folders, and subfolders, the files are there in Desktop #2.I have been copying from this USB to the desktops for a year. This problem has just started. I am sure it is not an issue of hidden files as I have read all the post and gone into advanced view to select accordingly. What changed in desktop #2 that suddenly I can no longer verify throug

    Second HD not recognizes by Windows 10 (previously was OK)

    Windows 10 stopped recognizing my second hard drive (it was working before and restore point is filed on the second drive).

    During boot up I clicked f10 and run the HD tests for both and they passed.

    When trying computer management (disk management) the second HD does not show up (just the first) and

    the removable medias.

    Please, any suggestion on how to fix it?

    Number files copied from one HD to another is not the same when repeated with a second HD

    Cannot Format HD

    Need to initialize it as GPT disk type with HD > 2TB:
    From Admin command prompt:
    1. diskpart
    2. list disk =====> Take a note of disk # for the 4TB HD
    3. select disk # ====> From step 2
    4. clean
    5. exit
    Open Disk Management and initialize the disk as GPT, create simple then format.
