Windows 10: Number Keypad Unlock

After my PC goes to sleep I can type in my PIN number with the number keypad to get access. The next time I use it I have to press the Num Lock button to type numbers. I can't find the setting to keep the Num Lock off. I have a wireless mouse which I understand may have something to do with it. How do I keep Num Lock off? I'm always typing numbers in with the keypad only to realize that nothing is happening onscreen, then I hit Num Lock to be able to use it.

Numbers Keypad opens apps as well as typing numbers


I'm talking about the keypad at the right end of the keyboard.
When I press some number keys, apps open; if I use the numbers at the top of the keyboard, they work as usual.
I can't find this specific issue anywhere online.




1 opens Google Chrome
4 opens the volume level
7 opens the calculator
2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 work normally
Nothing is turned on in "Ease of access center"
I checked Google Chrome, and the 1 key is not set up as a shortcut



How do I stop the numbers keypad from doing this?

E72 keypad unlock

I experience the same problem. The phone unlocks itself when it's in my pocket. The result is unwanted calls, camera mode etc. I'm very satisfied with the E71, except the keypad unlock combination.



Previously I had an Nokia E71, with the "old" keypad unlock combination. I never had this problem then.



I hope Nokia either makes other key combinations for keypad unlock, available in the software, or just change it back to the old comination.
