Windows 10: Number pad cannot connect to my computer.

The number pad that I have had for a while is not connecting with the work computer that I was given just recently. It has lmp 11.82, and is a Windows 10. The number pad has connected with the previous computer without a problem, however refuses to connect to my new work laptop.When I go into Bluetooth devices to connectas my computer does not have swift pair it does show up. When I go to connect it, a number that I have to type in on the number pad shows up, however, even when I type in the number, it shows 'failed to connect to device'. Use number pad of mac keyboard on Windows 10

I have a Windows 10 desktop and I use a mac keyboard with number pad on it. Its model number is A1243 and its connected by USB. However I cant seem to get the right driver or configuration to get the number pad to actually work. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

This could be a problem with pairing with Windows. Here is some troubleshooting that you can try and should fix this problem.

Step 1: Remove the device from Windows

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Devices then click on Bluetooth & other devices

3-Check that the Microsoft Number Pad is shown on the list, click on that and select Remove device and confirm

Step 2:Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Update & Security

3-Click on Troubleshoot then click on Additional troubleshooter

4-Search for the Bluetooth troubleshooter and click on that then click on Start

5-Then follow the instructions

Step 3: Connect your keyboard

1-Press and hold the pair button on the bottom of the number pad for 5 seconds or until the LED light starts to flash and enter pairing mode

2-On your Windows 10 PC, select Connect if a notification appears for your number pad, then wait for it to get set up

4-If you don't see the notification. Select Start, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other devices > Bluetooth > Microsoft Number Pad > Done
