Windows 10: Numerous BSODs with Various Errors

Hi,


I've been getting many BSODs over the past month or two. The errors vary and have included: "kernel_auto_boost_lock_acquisition_with_raised_IRQL," "reference_by_pointer," and "system_thread_exception_not_handled" to name a few. I have performed a clean install, but it did not solve the problem. Windows Memory Diagnostic did not find any issues.

Various BSOD Errors Help

Hey all,

I've received multiple BSOD errors the past 2 days after rebuilding my PC. I've been trying to figure out the issue.

These are the few BSOD messages I remember seeing:

• DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (multiple times)
• CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (one time)
• IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (one time)
• WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (multiple times)

Steps I've taken:

• fully updated drivers
• applied all Windows updates
• Removed unnecessary hardware
• Monitored CPU/GPU temps (log file on temps during last crash in share)

Any help would be appreciated.

 

BSOD on numerous servers

We have recently begun to get BSOD errors on numerous servers thoughout our estate. Each BSOD results in the following error Operating System failure (Windows bug check, STOP: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF800DD4B28AD, 0xFFFFD000D3BD1848,
0xFFFFD000D3BD1060))

We have tried disabling SMBv1 & 2 and also disabling TCP offloading as these have been some of the suggestions we have found whilst trawling the internet looking for an explanation

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

Run SFC /SCANNOW

Report back.
