Windows 10: NUMLOCK KEY For MY Dell All-inOne Keyboard

NumLock key messes up alpha keys on desktop with full size keyboard.

I realize that numlock key messes up with other keys on the keyboard. I will try to help you with this issue.

  What is the make and model of the keyboard?
  

Unplug the keyboard from the computer, restart the computer once and then re-plug the keyboard to check if that helps.

You may also plug in this keyboard into another PC to check if the issue persists. You may plug in another keyboard in to this PC to check if that helps.

Also ensure to install any pending Windows updates on the PC and restart it to check if that helps.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

You may also use the on-screen keyboard to check if the issue persists.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

• 
  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.
  
• 
  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

Keyboard NUMLOCK

Just reloaded Windows 10 and I can't keep the NUMLOCK on. I have tried many suggestions. I have looked at the registry and it shows on and the bio shows it is on. Any suggestions?

 

NumLock not defaulting with Windows 10

So I'm having trouble with NumLock defaulting on the Logon screen in Windows 10. I have a Dell Inspiron 15R.

I tried the following;

• On the Logon screen, press the NumLock key on the keyboard to turn it on. On the bottom right corner of the Login screen I clicked the power button to reboot Windows.
• using Registry tweak, InitialKeyboardIndicators under HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard using code(s) 2147483650 then tried 80000002 as well as just 2
  

Before installing Win10 it worked as desired (I did #2 above using code "2"). Anyone find a solution?
