Windows 10: Numlock key messes my keyboard

Hello, I have an issue. When I attempt to use my numeric keyboard, but even more so when numlock is turned on, multiple keys, both numeric keyboard and not, get messed up. For example, the "3" key acts like an enter, space also triggers the "2" key, backspace triggers the up arrow key. I tried restarting multiple times, uninstalling the keyboard driver, reseating the battery, and many other solutions, but none worked. However, the on-screen keyboard operates just fine. could anyone help me figure this out? Thank you in advance

  What is the make and model of the keyboard?
  

Unplug the keyboard from the computer, restart the computer once and then re-plug the keyboard to check if that helps.

You may also plug in this keyboard into another PC to check if the issue persists. You may plug in another keyboard in to this PC to check if that helps.

Also ensure to install any pending Windows updates on the PC and restart it to check if that helps.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

You may also use the on-screen keyboard to check if the issue persists.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

• 
  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.

  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

Keyboard NUMLOCK

Just reloaded Windows 10 and I can't keep the NUMLOCK on. I have tried many suggestions. I have looked at the registry and it shows on and the bio shows it is on. Any suggestions?

 

Keyboard - Backspace and NumLock

Hello everyone,

One of our users seems to be having issues with their keyboard numpad keys. The issue doesn't happen right away, but it does happen. The issue is when the user uses the number 2 on the keypad -- it goes down instead of keying the number 2. Also, from time
to time, the Backspace inserts double zeros instead of deleting. I made sure that the NumLock was on. I also remoted in to see if this issue would happen if I entered 2 on my keypad from my keyboard and it still happened. I've looked all over google for a
solution, but still haven't found anything. (hopefully that all made some sense)

Things I've tried:

• Uninstalled\Reinstalled keyboard drivers. (works temporarily)
• Replaced keyboard several times with both USB and PS/2 keyboards.
  • Plugged keyboards into different ports
• Reimaged and swapped out PC's 3 times. (Each time with different images)
  • Had different users login to these specific computers to test and it happens to them as well.
  • Had the main user log into a different workstation and she didn't run into any issues.
• Removed local profile.
• Removed Citrix profile.
• Ran Windows Updates.
• Ran SFC and Windows troubleshooter. (Detected nothing wrong)

Any help would be much appreciated.
