Windows 10: numlock won't stay on at bootup.

Discus and support numlock won't stay on at bootup. in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; how can I make windows 10 boot up with numlock on once and for all? Nothing I have found online works.... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Customization' started by TJLJR, Feb 3, 2020.

    Numlock on at startup

    I have some information concerning the NumLock being off at startup. It would always be off when I booted up to the screen to enter the PIN. I remember somewhere reading about the 'on screen' keyboard, but did nothing with it because I don't have a touch
    screen. After checking the registry 'keyboard' information, and the 'quick start' and 'NumLock' in BIOS, I still had to turn the NumLock on manually at bootup. When I brought up the On Screen keyboard and checked the options for the On Screen keyboard, I
    found a checkbox for the NumLock 'unchecked'. When I put a check mark in the box, my NumLock now is on when I boot. So, even though I wasn't using the On Screen keyboard, that is what was not allowing the NumLock key to be 'on' at bootup!
