Windows 10: Nvidia 860m not detected on my laptop

Hello here, am having issues with my laptop detecting my nvidia graphics cardgtx 860m, it was working fine even when I upgraded my laptop to windows 10 last month but stopped working for two weeks now. I have been searching online, watching YouTube videos but still none worked. I have tried the following methods

1. I tried going through the bios settings, there is no option for SWITCHABLE GRAPHICS.

2. I have tried manually installing the nvidia graphics on device manager but I got an error.

3. I also tried resetting the pc. But still my nvidia graphics isn't detected.

4. I also attempted the msi factory reset, but the option was missing

5. I have tried uninstalling nvidia graphics drivers with DDU on safe boot and tried to install them again But I got this error


"This graphic driver could not find compatible graphic hardware"

And Device manager also didn't detect the nVidia adapteronly detect Intel hd graphics 4600..what should i do now? Please Help


My laptop specs are

Name:MSI GE70 2PE APACHE PRO

Processor: i7-4720hq

GPU: Intel hd graphics 4600 + Nvidia gtx 860m 2gb ddr5

RAM: 12GB

OS: Windows 10

Laptop display does not detect itself

Hi,

In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on System.
• Under System, choose Display.
• Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.

NVIDIA GeForceGT610 not detected

Upgraded from Win 7 Ultimate but Graphics card NVIDIA GT610 is not detected in the Device Manager and any attempt to load the NVIDIA Driver 353.62, which is for win 10, fails to install. Currently running with Microsoft generic driver which is not seen
on Device Manager. Any suggestions welcome!

 

GTX 860M 2/4gb

I have seen some laptops with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M 4gb card are those also Maxwell based like the 2gb's¿¿¿¿

I ask bcs I read somewhere the 4gb version was Kepler not Maxwell based but on notebookcheck.net they write Maxwell and geforce.co.uk don't really say if it's 2 or 4gb only different Cuda Cores
