  1. Nvidia color settings disabled after I turn on my pc monitor

When I boot my pc the nvidia color settings that I made using the nvidia control panel load correctly, sometimes I have to turn off my monitor to do something else but when I return and turn the monitor on, the changes I made with nvidia control panel doesn't load and I am forced to go to the nvidia control panel and enable the settings again. What should I do to make windows or nvidia load my color settings when turning the monitor on.

    :)

Windows10 Version 2004 Nvidia Color Settings drop

Starting with the Windows 1903 Update my Nvidia Color Settings would drop...normally when coming out of sleep. I have contacted nVidia and there has been an open ticket with nVidia Support for over 8 months. I keep getting from them that the Ticket is
open and they have not been able to duplicate the issue.

Few days back Windows updated to version 2004...the issue with nViida Color setting has gotten worse. Now in addition to the Color Setting dropping coming out of sleep, when I Power on my PC and the desktop appears I see the NVidia setting kicking in and
    within seconds they drop.

So my work around is getting real old....I open the nVidia Control panel, and keep it open so the Panel is always open to click on Use nVidia Setting.....to adjust my monitor to my pleasing display.

I have tried a feel changes of settings, for example, ....Chnaging settings in Windows Color Management, WindowsColourSystem triggers; disabling them, made no difference.

    Help?

Washed out monitor colors after Nvidia driver install

    Hello.

I'm having a real frustrating problem with color accuracy/picture quality.

Maybe I'm missing something obviuos but I have trawled the internet for answers.

    My setup:

    • Windows 10 (updated)
    • Nvidia 980ti
    • Acer XB270HU -Displayport
    • ASUS VG258 -Displayport
    • 442.50 drivers (also tested a couple of older ones, usually don't update more than once a couple months)

Without any drivers installed (after DDU/format C-drive) both monitors have a great black contrast and good colors.

But directly after Nvidia Driver installation (even before a restart) everything gets really washed out and stays bad.

Why is this happening and can I disable/remove whatever is happening at the end of installation?

I had this computer for several years (except sec monitor which is a little newer) and everything worked great.

Recently bought two new displayport cables for the monitors to test, Asus ran on a HDMI connection before.

Tried taking screenshots of my problem and if I can do that it must be a software problem?

Did something change in Windows or Nvidia driver recently that can do this?

Steps I have tried to troubleshoot:

    • x-rite i1 colorimeter to check if my eyes are deceiving me and generate icc-profiles
    • Nvidia control panel settings, check the cable signal (full-limited) range. was Full both monitors.
    • Disabled Windows services "Display Policy Service", Display Enhancment Service"
    • Removed checkmarks for "Use Windows Calibration" in Control Panel
    • Disabled the "Calibration Loader" in "Task Scheduler"
    • Removed drivers with DDU prior to test older ones
    • Full format of C-disc and reinstall of latest Windows 10 version
    • Removed all my saved user settings in OneDrive account

Thanks for taking the time reading.

    Hopefully it's fixable.

Nvidia color settings disabled after I turn on my pc monitor

    Monitor color settings

I have 2 monitors which I have been using with my Windows 10 system. Yesterday they suddenly turned a kind of light reddish sepia colour. Both of them at the same time. When I start Windows up, both monitors are very briefly OK but almost immediately the
sepia pops in. I use my computer for photography and graphics so this is no good. I thought it might be Adobe Gamma which is set to load on startup. So I disabled Adobe Gamma but the problem still happens exactly the same. A brief flash of OK color then both
monitors turn light sepia. I tried altering the color balance of the monitor which is a workaround but not really effective in properly fixing the problem. What other things during startup might affect the color, other than Adobe Gamma?
