  1. Nvidia gpu driver is altered after bootup

Hi,I have a laptop with an RTX 3050 and at the beginning of the year, I started having performance issues in every game I played. At first I thought it was the settings but then I realized that the gpu is underutilized and has low clock speed. I decided to reinstall the drivers through nvidia's app and that seemed to fix it for a few days. Then maybe 3 days later the issue came back, after which I uninstalled the drivers with DDU and that also didn't work. Currently my only temporary fix is to uninstall the drivers through device manager and let windows replace the drivers automatically every

  2. Persistent NVIDIA GPU Issue with Code 43 on Windows 11

Despite the GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q Design) being recognized in the BIOS and listed in Device Manager, it does not appear in Task Manager. As a result, my system defaults to using the integrated Intel(R) UHD Graphics.
In Device Manager, next to the driver, a Code 43 error is reported with the message 'The device has reported a problem and has been stopped.' Additionally, the NVIDIA Control Panel does not launch.

Here's a brief summary of the steps I've already attempted, unfortunately without success:

    1. Complete uninstallation of NVIDIA drivers in Safe Mode
    2. Updating drivers directly from NVIDIA's website
    3. Installing drivers through NVIDIA GeForce Experience
    4. Reinstalling the NVIDIA Control Panel
    5. Restarting NVIDIA Display Container LS from Services

Here are the specifications of my laptop:

    • MSI Prestige 15 A10SC
    • Intel Core i7-10710U
    • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design
    • 16 GB RAM
    • 512 GB SSD

I've noticed that my issue mirrors one discussed in a previous thread: Redirecting

I believe this is not a hardware problem.

  3. Windows 10 Nvidia Quadro M1000M GPU not working after installing external GPU NVidia GeForce RTX 3060

I have a Lenovo P50 laptop with an internal Quadro m1000m GPU. I installed recently an external NVidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU (thunderbolt attached), and the internal Quadro m1000m GPU gets a Code 31 in device manager.

The NVidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU driver does not list Quadro m1000m as supported.

Is it possible to have multiple GPUs with different NVidia drivers on Windows 10?

Swapping Nvidia GPUs - What To Do About Drivers?

Thanks to you both. Will try the new GPU and driver and see how I get on. - - - Updated - - - I have another basic question. I visited the Nvidia site for downloads - Official GeForce Drivers | NVIDIA When I enter my details of my new card and system details in the driver search (Geforce GT730 GPU, Windows 10 64 Bit OS and game ready option) I get a long list of different options for downloads. The top 7 results are for something called 'Geforce Security Update Driver'. Then below these there are several game ready drivers listed. What is a Geforce Security Update Driver? Is this actually just a driver for my new GPU, or something else? Is this the driver I need? Do I pick the top one on the list, ie. the latest version? Or do I need one of the older game ready drivers further down the list. I'm confused by all the options. I'm not really a gamer, but there isn't a browsing and watching porn ready driver listed on the Nvidia site. *Smile Maybe there's a gap in the market. Please help me in my confusion as to which driver download I need.
