Windows 10: Nvidia Graphics shut down while playing.

Hello, I have an MSI laptop that since I upgraded to the 2004 version of windows it started to give an error associated with the "Display controller failed to start" notification and that makes the nvidia graphics card in this case a 3Gb 1060 to stop working. I use an external monitor and the image stops showing on that monitor and goes to the laptop monitor. Normally to resolve it I have check if there are changes in the hardware and return to the monitor however this happens to me several times both playing and working. There are days when nothing happens and there are days when it happens several times an hour. I have already updated the bios, the nvidia drivers, the intel processor drivers, I have gone back to version 1903 and then to 1909 and I don't know how to solve this problem. I already format the laptop by windows and by bios. If anyone knows I would like the solution to be indicated. Thank you, David Cabral.

Changing Brightness with Nvidia Graphic Card

Hello Everybody,

While I am using Nvidia Graphic Card, for example playing a game, the brightness decreasing and increasing frequently. When I unplug the the power cable and then plug in again, the problem is temporarily fixed. How can I fix the problem?

My computer is MSI GE70-2QE Apache Pro and the followings are the specs of my computer:

• Intel Core i7 4720HQ CPU
• Intel HD Graphics 4600 and Nvidia GTX 960M Graphic Card

I'm not able to switch on "add, run with a graphics processor, to desktop cortex". from the Nvidia control panel this option is found missing. and it's really hard to play games like this would any of you suggest me how to bring back that option.

I request you to try the following steps:

Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
Drivers

• 
  Right click on the Start menu.
  
• 
  Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
  
• 
  Search for the Graphics Card
  from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
  from the computer.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
  

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.
