Discus and support nvidia HDMI goes to sleep while playing Audio in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; When my pc was in energy saving and I am playing some flac files with windows 11 media playback and no other input after 5 minutes the energy saving...     nvidia HDMI goes to sleep while playing Audio


    When my pc was in energy saving and I am playing some flac files with windows 11 media playback and no other input after 5 minutes the energy saving options turn my monitor via DP and my audio-receiver connected via hdmi to no signal. So the audio playback is interrupted by that.It seems that the playback is not recognized as an input, so that it don't prevent the monitors hdmi audio to go to sleep. I dont want to turn energy saving off at all, it is a usefull function. So what should i do?Asus B460 Plusintel i3 10100FPNY RTX3060 12GB XLR8 single Fan16GB HyperX Beast DDR4 @JEDEC 2400MH

    PC to TV through HDMI

    Hi,

    Have you tried to reconfigure your audio settings? If not, try to change your audio output settings to HDMI by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows ( ) key + X.
    • Select Control Panel.
    • Click Hardware & Sound.
    • Click Manage Audio Devices.
    • Select the HDMI device listed under the Playback tab.
    • Click Set as default and click Ok.

    Also, we suggest to update your audio driver.

    Let us know how it goes.

    No audio from HDMI

    I can't get audio from HDMI. Now, I have tried to go into Settings and select the HDMI output, and it lists no output devices. I know my NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 has audio output as it has worked before, but I'm getting nothing listed. Help me.

    If the Digital Output Device or HDMI is not an option under the Playback tab. You can run the Hardware and Device troubleshooter by following these steps:

    • Type Troubleshooting in Search or Cortana.
    • Click on “View All” in the top left corner.
    • Choose Hardware and Sound.
    • Click Playing Audio to run the troubleshooter.
