Windows 10: Nvidia Platform Controllers Error Code 31

my nvidia platform controllers show error code 31 and i have reason to suspect that it might be a possible cause of my DXGKRNL bluescreen issues, i have made a previous post regarding the bluescreen issue and i thought it was resolved but recently my laptop bluescreened again, so i want to check if fixing the platform controllers might resolve my issue.SPECS:Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3AMD Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon Graphics 3.00 GHzGTX 1650What i have done so far to try to resolve this issue:uninstalled drivers normally and reinstalled normally = did not resolverollbacked drivers = did not resolveu

Nvidia Platform Controllers and Framework/Code 31/Device Manager

When updating the Nvidia driver to latest one I keep getting the error Code 31 in Device Manager. My system is Windows 10 Home, fresh install and I install drivers cleanly. I googled and found the conflict could be related to Memory Integrity in Core Isolation (Windows Device Security settings), but I have it OFF. Any hints? thanks

UPDATE: In another WIndows 10 PC with the same Nvidia driver version installed there are no conflicts in Device Manager, and additionally, there is no "Nvidia Platform Controllers and Framework" component under "Software Devices", so maybe I can just uninstall this conflicting device by right clicking/Uninstall without any harm?

I recently bought Acer Swift X but got to know that it has a driver error with code 31 for Nvidia Framework and Controller. I did format the system once and saw that the problem was resolved but, just the other day I saw the same driver error again. please help me with this.

Hello David. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

1) The Nvidia display driver is so important here that merely updating it might not be enough. Try everything here to make sure including DDU to clean out the old driver before installing new from each suggested source:

2) If no newer or different Nvidia driver fixes it then try removing the Nvidia GeForce software and reinstalling only the driver:
