Discus and support Nvidia stops Windows 10 upgrade in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; I have an older HP desktop I use for the kids.     Nvidia stops Windows 10 upgrade


    I have an older HP desktop I use for the kids. Windows 10 will not load because my NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 is incompatible. Are there any work arounds or is Window 7 the best I can do on that machine?

    Windows 10 compatibility

    Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 I can't seem to play my regular games, I tried to play Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 using the new NVIDIA driver which should be purposly for Windows 10 and when I launch the game it simply stops working, it happens also with
    PES 2015, I've already spoke with NVIDIA support via live-chat and they said it can be an incompatibility with Windows 10.

    I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT540M 1GB.

    So I ask you if it's a NVIDIA problem or a Windows problem

    Unable to upgrade to Windows 10 due to NDIVIA driver not compatible

    I have come across a compatibility issue with NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 when upgrading to Windows 10 which wont allow myself to upgrade. The only error message I get which stops me upgrading to Windows 10 is the display manufacturer hasn't made your display
    compatible with Windows 10.

    I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit with the latest NDIVIA driver version 7.15.11.7967 release date 6 March 2009 for the GeForce Go 7600.

    I really want to upgrade to Windows 10 but due to the NVIDIA driver I am unable to do so. Is there a solution for this issue?

    I tried to update the graphics card from the Nvidia site but it would fail and windows said I had the latest driver.

    After reading the info on those links it looks like that machine will be staying on Windows 7. Thank you for the links.

    Your Welcome, as we see it is known issue for many with same integrated card, think as Dude said what are your options for an upgrade to a PCI card, probably will help.

    I may do that down the road but the computer works just fine on Windows 7 and the kids won't care for now. When they start playing real games I will look into replacing the computer.

    True, should be fine. I had pretty much same issue with my tablet and that is not an option for me as having a desktop to change hardware. Windows 7 is good OS, true it matters by games used to run well with this integrated card anyway. If you decide to come back here ask many of people here for advice on one or go to Windows 7 Help Forums
