Windows 10: Nvlddmkm \Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: 900

[Black Screen]nvlddmkm display stopped working

Im having while playing video games and watching a movie/series this error on event viewer

\Device\Video3

Error occurred on GPUID: 900

"Cannot find the id description of event 0 in the origin of nvlddmkm. The component that does this event is not installed on the local computer or the instalation is damaged. U can install or repair the local component"

Anyone has had any of this issue before? Trying to understand whats going on to fix it

i have latest nvidia drivers installed

 

Event ID 56 errors in Windows 11, Windows Store Exception BSOD ,only occurs during certain games. Any tips?

I've also gotten this error in event viewer yesterday evening, there was a system hang but no crash this time, guessing it is probably related:

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

nvlddmkm errors when playing games

Hey there!

Was hoping a Windows enthusiast out there could help me with an nvlddmkm error I've been receiving for months that I've grown more and more tired of as it has become more and more persistent! This is the event viewer message I'm receiving-

The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video3

Error occurred on GPUID: 2200

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

It used to happen monthly, then weekly, then daily, and now sometimes it happens every 10 minutes or so. I'm not sure if I have a hardware or driver failure or what the heck is going on but any tips are welcome. Thank you!
