Windows 10: nvlddmkm.sys BSOD when i open some games.

I tried DDU to uninstall the drivers multiple times, tried a lot of possible fixes but nothing worked, what can i do?

Games re-start in the middle of a game

Tried checking Nvidia's forums and I was able to dig up this: {{MetaTags.og.title}}

It seems that the culprit is the Anniversary update.

I would suggest you the steps provided there to remove the update. Or maybe you can also posts there and maybe get some other inputs regarding the issue?

In any case, the drivers are not the issue here and we may need to check for other options.

What driver versions have you tried currently for your graphics?
If it is the newest version, 361.43, try rolling back the drivers.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

 

BSOD while gaming - wdf01000.sys

Hi gents,

I have created an account here to ask for some assistance because I am at wit's end with my BSOD issues.

Early January 2018 my PC started acting up and BSODing like a wild savage while gaming. MemTest, OCCT all passed just fine so I moved from a hardware to a software assumption. I decided to reinstall Windows10 since I had never had a clean (only upgraded) Windows 10 install - PROBLEM SOLVED. Or so I thought. The problem has now resurfaced ~2 Months later and I have no idea what the issue is.

• When does it happen? > While gaming
• Result - BSOD of various description but most recently it seems to be wdf01000.sys related:
  • KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
  • IRQL not less or equal
  • Many others I can't recall

I have run the forum's BSOD data collection app and attached the result which was generated when running Driver Verifier.

I will try get more dumps as a result of gameplay and upload.

Any help GREATLY appreciated.
