Windows 10: nvlddmkm.sys Video TDR BSODs After 10/13/2021 Windows Update

I have been experiencing nvlddmkm.sys Video TDR Error BSOD crashes since mid-October 2021. I have been keeping a detailed log of all events since November 01, which has allowed me to possibly narrow down the potential cause. This log is now 47 pages long, so I will try to summarize all of my observations and troubleshooting steps in this post.Observations:In the 16 months since building my PC before this issue started, I experienced maybe 2-3 BSODs total of any kind, and my system was 99% reliable 24/7. She probably needs to do a video driver update. Get her to go to the manufacturers website for her graphics card and update her graphics card drivers.

Video TDR BSOD

Hi all

Hoping someone can help. Running windows10 and getting BSOD video tdr failure igdkmd64.sys when i start my computer up and it is connected to a second monitor. We have tried the following to no avail, open to all suggestions!

- Added TdrDelay, no change

- updated windows and drivers, no change

- removed both drivers (intel and nvidia), when we removed the intel driver the computer actually started up okay with no BSOD, so we are assuming it has something to do with the intel driver?

TDR stands for Timeout Detection and
Recovery. A timeout happens when graphics ('video') processing comes to a halt while some problem is being addressed. If too many timeouts happen in a row, a BSOD occurs.

The blue screen references a driver file that is involved with the original problem, although the file itself is not necessarily the cause. It's likely to be atikmpag.sys or nvlddmkm.sys or igdkmd64.sys, depending on whether your graphics chip is from
AMD, nVidia or Intel. (AMD was formerly known as ATI.)

The first step in fixing this problem is to update your graphics driver. Go to the Intel website and install the newest Windows 10 driver for your Intel graphics chip. (If you have a laptop you probably need to get the driver from the laptop manufacturer.)

If Intel isn't supporting that graphics chip on Windows 10 - there's no Windows 10 driver for it - you may have success with a Windows 8.1 driver. Otherwise, it's probably time to update your graphics hardware.
