    Has a excel file to perform records updating action and it open from network drive. After a few min to pop up 2FA box and enter a code to solve it, but that updated records also lost.May I know how to solve this problem? O365 business standard license.Excel save option: default option.

    thanks again for the detailed replies. - - - Updated - - - i'm a bit confused about the bitwarden site, Field Guide to Two-Step Login | Bitwarden Help Center they suggest using Authy themselves, lol, but it seems to suggest the 2FA 6-digit code is only available on their mobile app? or do they mean you just need it on the phone to scan the QR?

    Outlook with 2FA?

    It all depends on the account - for my company email, I have no option but to use 2FA. The OP's query was what would happen if phone is lost, and as I pointed out there is a backup option. I do not use 2FA on my personal outlook email, and a decent password is adequate.

    2FA on account

    Hi, I wanted to add 2FA on a microsoft account. I use the default mail app on 2 windows 10 pc's with outlook email addresses. I assumed when I activated 2FA that I would need to create an app password for each of the pc's. Do they need new app passwords or will they continue to work as before with 2FA enabled. Hope this makes sense thanks
