Windows 10: O365 apps keep asking for password and verification code as MFA

Hi MS support


I keep getting password prompts followed by MFA authentication several times a day after upgrading windows to 20H2 version. This completely messes up my work day.

THIS IS MOST ANNOYING UPDATE EVERRRR!!


Even after successfully authenticating I am getting this prompts again. Also, I do RDP to my work PC, it used to save my password before but now I have to type in password every time I launch RDP session even I chose the remember password checkbox previously


Looks like the credentials are not getting stores as it should for anything.

RDC to local computer using O365 accounts and MFA

Context:

• I was doing this before MFA was enabled, the moment MFA was turned on, I was kicked from the local RDC and cannot log back into the RDC
  
• All accounts are O365
  
• Both Computers are AD joined, and on windows 10 enterprise
  
• We do not have or use an RDG, NPS or MFA server ( Azure or otherwise )
  
• I can use MFA everywhere else just fine ( Teams, SFB, Office, Outlook, etc )
  
• I just want to multitask across computers on the same network..

I've tried using app passwords which worked for my 'Skype for Business' problem..

I've tried using the security device credential.

I can RDC using the local Admin account ( not o365 ), and that spits me to the signin page. Wherein have the ability to use the Device Security Credential. But then it just says that the DSC is incorrect. ( plus, it's just a workaround )

Is there a way for me to RDC across my local network, using O365 accounts, while MFA is turned on?

With 2-Step Verification, you’ll protect your account with both your password and your phone. 2-Step Verification can help keep bad guys out, even if they have your password. So during sign-in, you can choose
not to use 2-Step Verification again on that particular computer. From then on, that computer will only ask for your password when you sign in.

Turn off 2-Step Verification to avoid the verification pop up.

Verification app codes

I was trying to log in skype and it asked me for a verification code. My Android verification app creats just codes with 8 digits, but Skype ask for a 7-digit code. What can I do?
