Obfuscation of Code in Applications, Trusted Companies

Hello, I want to ask about the possibility of Roblox being granted an exception to the rule prohibiting obfuscated code within the platform.I have heard rumors that Roblox, as a trusted developer, could negotiate a deal to implement the Hyperion anticheat system, which could involve obfuscated code, and I'd like to verify whether this could happen. Could you please clarify whether such an exception could be made?

    :)

  2. Obfuscation of Code in Applications - Are Such Applications allowed on the Microsoft Store?

Hello, this is more of an inquiry about the Microsoft Stores policies and if code obfuscation is prohibited. Recently, Roblox introduced a new system called Hyperion, an anti-tamper software developed by Byfron Technologies which the corporation bought in October 2022. While the Hyperion systems have been added to the web version (the client version which can be downloaded directly from the roblox.com website), it is reportedly absent from the Microsoft Store version.

I've seen some reports that the reasoning behind such was that the Microsoft Store doesn't allow the obfuscation of code, which Hyperion relies on to protect itself. I was wondering if such reports of the "no obfuscation" rule are true in relation to the Microsoft Store.
