Windows 10: Obtain view only sharing link of OneDrive file by programming in Excel

Hi Support, I am curious to know if it is possible to obtain a file's OneDrive sharing link in excel cell formulae. I have an excel spreadsheet which is used to manage MANY image files. At the moment, I am using HyperLink to generate clickable links in spreadsheet. When I click on the link, it will open a dialog box like this picture shows . After click "Yes", computer will use image viewer program to open the image. Now I need to share this spreadsheet with others. So I moved all relevant files to OneDrive. Sharing an Excel file

I want to share an Excel file on my network: I right click on the file and look for Give access to. Not in the list. So, I click on Properties. No Sharing tab to be found. The same thing happens with any Excel file that I try.

I have Office 2017.

How Do I Share a OneDrive Link to a File w/ Anyone?

Easy. Right click the file in your OneDrive folder, click Share a Link. The link is copied to your clipboard. The you can paste that link anywhere yo anyone. Like this:

 

OneDrive - shared link - one is required to create an account first?

I don't share files often, or better, I hardly share files.

Now I shared a video.
Uploaded the video to OneDrive, right-click share, created a link, and sent it by mail to the person I wanted to share the file with (having a Gmail account)

That person tried to open the link and reported back that he should first create an account.

Huh..?

Did I overlook a step somewhere?
