    Occasional PC Crash

My PC has just stopped.. My second screen went black and the PC froze. I had to power off and on to get it working.

This has happened a few times over the last couple of weeks. No new applications installed.
Last week I had 3 / 4 days with no issues, then off it went. Today its been running of around 1 1/2 hours.

Other times it runs for days with out issue. I'm not accessing the same program each time, although I do have Chrome open.

Any ideas how I can see what's causing it ?

    Thanks

    :)

    IE11 on Windows10 (x64) crashes on starting

With a new local user, IE works fine.

About its trigger, no particular thing comes to my mind but one:

My note-pc occasionally crashes for a long time,

formerly with blue screen, recently after creators update without it

like falling into poweroff by itself.

Perhaps my issue is since one of such crashes.

This process occasionally reaches 97%, why is it causing CPU to crash?

    Occasional PC Crash

A PC freezing with no warning and no error is likely to be due to overheating of the CPU or GPU causing an immediate stop. It could be a memory failure but these usually have a BSOD associated with them. The last couple of weeks have been warmer in the UK so it might be that the running temperatures have increased. A monitoring program could be useful to track these such as HWmonitor or Speccy.

Thanks for the reply, I've got HWMonitor installed.
This is what it's currently showing:
