  1. October 13th Update Caused Computer to Shut Off, Cannot Restart

Just installed the update from 13OCT2020. Restarted computer. Everything seemed ok for about an hour. Then laptop started shutting down randomly. It then shut off and will not restart at all. When the power button is pressed the keyboard lights up then immediately shuts off. No sounds, screen does not respond. After the update the battery also showed low charge when it was plugged in. I have had ZERO issues until this update was pushed. There is very little on this computer besides a few games.

    Laptop: Acer Predator 17GX-792703D

    Browser Used: Firefox

Oddly enough after the May2020 Windows 10 update I had another laptop **** out in almost the same fashion. Seems to me Microsoft needs to work on there bugs.

    :)

Keep getting blue screen on restart & shut down

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is likely to be caused by a driver and is usually caused by drivers that have used improper addresses. Stop error codes may be fixed by updating Windows. As a first troubleshooting step, we suggest that you check if there are
updates waiting to be installed on your device. If there are, kindly install these updates and restart your computer. After restarting your computer, see if it still shows the stop error code when restarting or shutting down your computer. Here's how to check
    for updates in Windows 10:

    • Press the Start button, then type Windows Update, and select it from the search results.
    • On the Windows Update page, click Check for updates.

If the issue is not resolved, do not hesitate to post back to us.
