    Oculus Link USB is not being recognized by my PC


    I recently bought the official Oculus Link cable, and decided to use it. 3 days later, It was not being recognized by windows.. Then next week, I bought another one. A couple days later, boom same issue. This also happened with my 200$ headset. I can't use it anymore, because of this stupid issue.


    Ste up your game bro. I have wasted so much money because you guys can't cant fix this stupid issue. My headset USB wont connect, My oculus cable wont connect, I even had 3 different snowball microphones, that have had the same exact issue. And, this hasn't even happened with just MY PC. My old one suffered through the same ****. I had to buy 3 microphones each lasting me a couple weeks. Because of this issue, I lost all motivation of pursuing a YouTube career.


    This is getting absurd. I can't even use my 200$ headset, and my 200$ oculus, and the 150$ I wasted for the damn snowball Microphones. I just want to know a fix. Everything I have tried Hasnt worked AT ALL.

    Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

    Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

    I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

    • Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
    • Flashed BIOS to latest version
    • Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
    • Tried new USB cables

    Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

    I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.

    You may receive this error if one of your USB connected devices is not properly recognized by the system. Let's try the troubleshooting steps provided by
    Krishna Prasobh V on this

    In addition, we suggest that you turn off the notifications from the USB by following these steps:

    • Open Settings by typing "settings" in Cortana's search box.
    • Click on Devices.
    • Locate USB and toggle the switch to Off.
