  1. Odd 3-4 second Audio crackle/freeze following a permissions warning in EventViewer

So I've been having issues with this pc since late May. Got it from IBuypower, sent it back to them for repair twice. Now here were are in December and the issue still isn't resolved. Cant refund the pc at this point and I certainly don't want to drop another 2k on a gaming pc. As the title states every 4 hours or so it seems like a permissions warning proceeds the issue I'm having concerning DistributedCOM. After the permissions warning a second later the issue happens. So the permission issue is as follows:

This happens at least once a day. I've shipped the pc back to IBuypower twice since May each time it has been gone for a month, they claimed to have replaced the Motherboard twice and the GPU but the issue remains. Any insight as to what can be causing this would be appreciated. It's almost been a year, this issue is driving me up a wall.

    :)

  2. Audio Crackling

    Hi,

Lastly, my audio in some games started to crackle.

I can start a game, play for a while, and then the audio starts to crackle.

What also happens is that I can play for like 5 minutes and then my game freezes and the audio is crackling.

Another problem is that after the freeze, my network connection is lost.

I have an external sound card (Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen) which I thought was the issue - but it also happens from the audio output of the motherboard.

I tried reinstalling the motherboard drivers, the GPU drivers, and my network card drivers, none of these helped.

I am really frustrated with this situation and I am really at a loss.

Hope someone could help me with this...

  3. Why do I have Crackling Audio Sounds but only when I am Online?

Thanks Greg for taking the time to help me with my audio problems. I followed every detailed step and It totally worked. I may still get the odd crackle every now and then but it is so far and few in between I hardly notice anymore.
I watched an hour tv episode then went on YouTube to listen to a dozen of songs just to test it out and I heard 2 faint crackles the whole time instead of continuous loud and annoying crackling every few seconds. And as a side Bonus my volume was totally restored
also. Funny thing is ... I didn't even know my volume was an issue lol until everything was working perfectly again. I'm listening to some Joe Satriani as I write this lol. I truly appreciate your valuable and expert knowledge and for writing such a detailed
and easy to follow, step by step solution to my audio problems.

    Again ... a Big Thanks

  4. Odd 3-4 second Audio crackle/freeze following a permissions warning in EventViewer

Computer freezes every 3-4 seconds for about 1 second

Since yesterday evening, I may be wrong, my HP Notebook - 15-af153sa (ENERGY STAR) has been freezing regularly for 1 second every 3-4 seconds. It's really bugging me when watching videos. Audio is unaffected by this problem, it's only the display.

    My specs:

AMD A6-6310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics 1.80Ghz

Windows 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Please help!
