    Hi,

I have an odd problem in Windows 10 when copying (or moving) files between my drives.

    Drive C: M.2 Samsung EVO 970

Drive D: WD Elements (external) connected to USB 3.1 port

    Drive E: Seagate Barracuda (internal)

When copying files between D and E the speeds are extremely low, about 10MB/s

I tested them with CrystalDiskMark and these are the results:

    Drive C: Samsung EVO 970

    Drive D: WD Elements

    Drive E: Seagate Barracuda

Don't you think the internal disk (E) should be at least as fast as the external (D)?

Any idea what might be the problem?

    Thanks.

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

  3. How to Restore Drive Tools Recording Speed?

    Hi Steven,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Ideally, the write speed is automatically determined by the system based on the type of CD/DVD that is used. However, please let us know:

    • What is the make and model of your computer and DVD drive?
    • Do you have any other CD/DVD write applications installed on your computer?
    • Are you using the same brand of DVDs that you used before?
    • If you are using any alternate burn application, do you see the same speed limitation?

However, if you are using the same brand of DVDs and trying to burn the same type of data and you are seeing variable write speed, you can try a few steps and check.

We would suggest you to update the driver, refer this article:
    Update drivers in Windows 10

Please refer the method 4, 5 and 6 from this article:
Your CD or DVD drive is not recognized by Windows or other programs
