    ODD FIX for 60 FPS in Full Screen Mode Multi-Monitor setups


    For us folks running multi-monitor setups, theres been this seemingly random problem of game being stuck on 60 FPS even if you got a high end GPU, or it's stuck on 60 FPS as long as you're running multi monitor setup.Various fix was attemptedby myself, including:turning off all the Microsoft game mode stuff - Dont Workturning off all the Microsoft game bar stuff - DOnt Workturning off "full screen optimization" at program setting/compatibility level - Dont Workupdating GPU driver blah blah - Dont Work.unplugging the spare monitor - WORKS! hmm... but i lose the spare monitorGame Forza Horizo

  2. 60 FPS cap in fullscreen mode.

    Windows doesn't create frames. Your graphics card does that.

    BTW #1: Your monitor's refresh rate (measured in Hz) and your graphics card's frame rate (measured in FPS) are two separate things.

  3. 60 fps capped issue

    I have a rtx 2070 and a 120hz monitor, all my games seem to be caped at 60 - 70 fps. It has run games over 120fps with no problems before. I recently changed a power supply and cpu cooler because of shutdown issues (those are fixed now) any suggestions.

    No, I am using a single monitor, it is 60hz, but that doesn't mean I can't get more than 60 fps in any game, as the V-sync is off in both the game and the IGCC.

    I have seen this thread before posting, proved no help.
