Odd repetitive static coming out headphones after auto-update

Hi, I've had an automatic update this morning, and now I've got a loud static sound coming out my headphones; this happens approximately once every 0.8 seconds. Naturally it's impossible to listen to music or anything else while this is happening.

    Headphones: Sennheiser 598 closed back
    Amp: FiiO E10K

    >Do I have speakers or other sound devices?
    No
    >Have I unplugged from the amp & straight into pc audio port?
Yes. No sound. I set the default sound device in device manager, and still nothing.
    >Do I get sound/music from the amp?
Yes. However, the loud static is still there.
    >Driver updated?
    Yes, already had the latest.
    >Driver rollback?
    Nothing to roll back to.

    :)

  2. Bluetooth Acting Up

On my computer, I have a pair of Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless Headphones. Recently though only with my computer, its been picking up static and other odd things during playback of audio and even with nothing playing. I've looked at the drivers for the device
and nothing is needing updates. What could be causing this and how can I resolve it? I tried it on my phone, works completely fine. I do notice that underneath bluetooth the headphones do come up as voice instead of headphones, but I wasn't sure if that's
    it or not.

Headphones are not being auto detected on Asus G75VW

    Hi,

Headphones are not being auto detected on Asus G75VW.

In order to switch between having sound come out of the speakers or headphones, I have switch them as the default device manually every time.

Before upgrading to Windows 10, headphones were auto detected when plugged in.

I did get the most recent drivers from VIA through Windows Update and it didn't fix the issue.

    Thanks.

Plugged the FiiO E10K into another USB port, problem is solved. Faulty USB? I think not. Strongly suspect it was one of the updates, but after rolling the suspected update back, it did not resolve the issue.

Marked the thread as "resolved" anyhow.
