Windows 10: OEM Forgot to activate Windows after in-warranty motherboard repair. What can I do?

I sent my laptop in for repair about a week ago, and the person who replaced my motherboard seems to have forgotten to activate windows.The troubleshooting feature cannot activate it, even when I check 'I changed hardware on this device recently'.The only option they've given me is sending the laptop back to the repair center. Isn't there anything I can do to activate windows myself

Did the windows came pre-installed on your computer before the replacement of your motherboard?

If so, then the license is OEM. OEM licenses are bound to the motherboard where it was first installed. Technically, the product key is embedded on the motherboard itself and the license is removed as soon as the motherboard is replaced. If that's the case, you need to have a valid retail license key to activate windows.

Retail licenses are a type of license which are purchased separately with the computer. Retail licenses are be transferred on any motherboard or computer.

Faulty motherboard with windows 10 OEM

I built a PC 2 days ago and I received a faulty motherboard, I have already activated an OEM version of windows 10 when the motherboard was working. Will I be able to reactivate windows when I replace the motherboard? (with the same model through warranty)
