OEM Windows for my own personal build

Hey there, I am just wondering if I can get some clarity regarding buying OEM Windows for use with a system I am building for my own use. The license seems to suggest I have to use the system builder tools to install it, and that it can only be sold to a customer. Is there any exception for bypassing the system builder tool requirements if I am both the builder and end user?

    :)

NOTE: the listing titles are in order from the order in the actual list, anything added in v8 will show which beta it was updated in to keep you guys informed on what changes were made where, as of 8.0 BETA 8, 7.1 is obsolete, but will keep it up to show how many changes I've made.

  4. OEM Windows for my own personal build

Question On OEM Windows clean install......

    "Flavors" of Windows licenses

Windows can be a little "odd" about license keys. There are at least 4 categories:
    • Retail
    • OEM
    • Volume (electronic download)
    • Corporate (no key needed)
For guaranteed success, the license key and media should be in the same category. If you have retail media, you may not be able to install it using an OEM or Volume license key, even though the key is valid for that version of Windows. *Wtf :wtf: Apparently, this is part of Microsoft's anti-piracy scheme (i.e., all customers are guilty until proven innocent).
